From soring lead lines to gritty licks and driving rhythm, Adam has creative ideas that will give your song the perfect touch; and with his extensive recording experience and refined​ classical technique, Adam delivers his parts in a precise and timely manner.
Adam has been composing and arranging string pieces since he was 11 years old. His musical skills were first showcased in 1996 winning Best Original Composition with his tune O'malley River Jig for the Anchorage School District Composition Competition, and then again in 1997 for Best Arrangement with the tune Fiddler's Fantasy. Since then, Adam has continued to build his skills, earning a Bachelors of Music Performance from the University of Northern Colorado, and now in studio with many of Nashville's top session players. Adam's string arrangements are sure to give your song the grace and fullness you have been looking for.​​​​
These lessons are for beginning students that have little or no previous experience with violin. During the lesson focus will be placed upon understanding the basics of music theory and learning the technical skills necessary to play simple tunes.
These lessons are for intermediate students who have a basic understanding of music theory and have mastered the technical skills necessary to play simple tunes. During these lessons focus will be placed on gaining a deeper understanding of music theory, developing more advanced technical skills through exercises, and beginning to build a repertoire of advanced tunes.
These lessons are for intermediate and advanced students who are ready to take their playing to the next step. During these lessons focus will be placed on learning advanced music theory, improvisation, advanced technique, building a larger repertoire of advanced tunes, and preparing audition music for college applications.
If you are looking for a great all-around utility musician, then Adam is your man. On the road Adam plays: violin, mandolin, and acoustic guitar. Also, if you need background harmonies (high or low) Adam has those covered too. With almost a quarter century of performance experience, a diverse musical background, and university level credentials, Adam is sure to deliver the precise, and creative, sound that will make your music stand out.
Adam has a deep passion for sharing the joy of music and educating the musicians of tomorrow. Throughout his life Adam has worked to create new opportunities for children to observe, experience, and interact with music first hand. He has also spent a lot of time and effort fighting to keep the existing music programs alive in public schools across America. Adam would love to visit your school to present a workshop about the violin, its history and future, the wonderful experiences of a life making music. Adam is available as a clinician for violin shops, music stores, and college and high school music programs. Adam is also available as a guest artist for high school and college music ensembles.
